BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh’s Bairia, Surendra Singh, on Sunday stated West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee hails from a “demoness tradition” and that her DNA is “defected”. Singh was referring to Banerjee taking offence on the chanting of slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” on Saturday at a programme held in Kolkata on the a hundred and twenty fifth delivery anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. “There’s defect within the DNA of Mamata Banerjee, and she or he hails from the demoness tradition (Mamata Banerjee ke DNA mein dosh hai, woh raakshashi sanskriti ki hai). No demon can love Lord Ram. Mamata Banerjee is a dishonest and evil (shaitan) individual. Her hatred for Lord Ram is pure,” he instructed reporters.
Singh added that the violence and homicide unleashed allegedly by members of Banerjee’s get together TMC in West Bengal present proof of their “evil” act. Banerjee had on Saturday declined to talk at an official programme on the garden of Victoria Memorial Corridor to rejoice Bose’s a hundred and twenty fifth delivery anniversary after “Jai Shri Ram” slogans have been raised by a bit of the viewers within the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She stated such “insult” was unacceptable.
The BJP claimed that Banerjee’s response mirrored her mindset of appeasement politics, whereas the ruling Trinamool Congress stated nobody can educate lumpens to be dignified.
